The institution of the Advisor of Students with Specific Educational Needs was established at Harokopeion University in 2014, with a relevant decision of the University Senate. Its main task is to provide support to students, which aims at better adapting them to academic life and facilitating their participation in the educational activities of the MPA, as well as informing the members of the University on issues related to the equal integration of these students in the academic community. Within the framework of the MAP, ways to facilitate the attendance of students with specific educational needs/disabilities are foreseen, which relate to accessibility to the University premises, the use of the e-learning platform, the use of the Library and other University services, the attendance and participation in classes and all MAP activities, as well as ways to evaluate the performance of students. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is taken into account for the management of the personal data of these students.
