Dr. Ioannis Kostakis is an economist (University of Crete, Greece). He completed his Master of Science in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Kent (United Kingdom) and later obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Economics with a scholarship from Harokopio University of Athens. With a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors, Dr. Kostakis has also been actively engaged in academia, having taught various economic modules at Harokopio University of Athens and the Hellenic Open University. His current research includes applied economics, econometrics theory, economic behavior, and sustainability issues.
